Product Description

Garden Scene, 1854, Jean-François Millet ,French. Historical artwork in public domain. Millet and his family spent the summer of 1854 at the village of Gruchy, where the artist was born. Gruchy sits on the granite cliffs of the rugged Normandy coast, overlooking the English Channel, which appears in the background of this picture. The color and notes that Millet had returned to his home village of Gruchy to settle his mother's estate, and that although this picture may not represent the family's actual garden, the man in the foreground recalls Millet's description of his great-uncle cultivating the land. Walls can display one's personality! These canvases with high-quality print will always look as tight and flat as the day they were made. Every frame is built with a solid face to support the canvas and prevent deforming.

Colors may vary slightly during the printing process.
